Washington State

Washington State provides many diverse and challenging fishing opportunities from fishing for steelhead on the Olympic Peninsula in the rainforest to catching bass east of the Cascade Mountains where the climate is hot and dry in the summer months.  The western side offers great salmon, steelhead and cutthroat trout opportunities in saltwater as well as the coastal rivers.  Trout can be caught throughout the state in the sound, rivers, creeks, and alpine lakes.  The eastern side offers additional river and lake opportunities to catch a wide range of fish from trout, bass, pan fish and other species such as carp not often associated with Washington State fisheries.
